When I first started in the industry, literally the first day I got my license, I introduced myself to a group of all female real estate agents. These were all older achieved women. I handed out my brand new business card, bright eyed.

 

“Hi, my name is Meg Mut. I just started real estate.”

“Oh we are all real estate agents here. We won’t need this.” Said one of the agents, ripping up my card as she laughed with her counterparts. 

 

An other woman laughed and chimed in, “She’s the aggressive one.”

 

That was my introduction into the real estate industry.
